Access Williamsburg

My Fourth Volunteer Project: Access Williamsburg

When I searched for my next volunteer project, I found Access Williamsburg, an organization that helps the elderly. They asked for help to update their website so the elderly can read what’s on their screen more easily.

This project would be my second time working with Squarespace. My first project is still undergoing. Squarespace is relatively easy to use, once you figure out how to use their tools, like anything else, but it’s just that much easier.

  • Recreated each page, making sure the images match in each other
  • Made fonts bigger for the elderly
  • Updated the header and footer
  • Added content as requested

About Access Williamsburg:

A new program that will allow senior citizens and individuals with disabilities to call a single telephone number to schedule their transportation in the Greater Williamsburg area that includes the City of Williamsburg, James City County and the Bruton District of York County.

It is a partnership of two current transportation providers:
Peninsula Agency on Aging and Williamsburg Area Transit Authority.
